YPY Architecture is a Sydney based practice focused on thoughtful, contemporary design. We create spaces that balance simplicity, function and beauty; from residential renovations to multi-unit developments, interiors and commercial projects.
We begin each project by seeking a deep understanding of our clients’ needs - their lifestyle, aspirations, constraints and the way they imagine inhabiting their space. About Us
Based in Sydney's Inner West but with international roots, YPY Architecture was founded by Yuri Parma Yamato, a registered architect with over 15 years of industry experience in Australia. He has worked on multiple award winning projects during his time at a range of leading offices throughout Sydney, giving his practice excellence in design and technical delivery.
Our background spans residential, multi-residential, commercial and specialised housing and is strengthened by collaboration with Gesto Arquitetura — an international award-winning studio with more than 40 years of architectural practice.
